IRS stand for Indian Revenue Service for this examination you would be crack the Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC every year


For this examination eligibility criteria is:

Age Limits:

For General Category 21-30 year

For SC/ST Category 21-35 year

For OBC Category 21-33 year


Educational Qualification: Must be Graduate any stream from any recognized university with any percentage


Examination:

1.Preliminary Exam

2. Main Exam


Number of Attempts

For General category 4

For OBC Category 7

For SC/ST Category 0 Limits

Hi friend.........

Indian Revenue Service (IRS):

IRS exam is Civil Service Examination. It is conducted by UPSC.

1.Officer Grade:

IRS Officer directly recruited through Civil Services Examination and Officers promoted from Income Tax Officers(Class-II) grade.

To enter IRS Officer/Officer grade directly you has to pass the Civil Service Examination.

The minimum qualification required for applying for CSE is graduation from a recognised university.

Candidates, who have attained 21 years of age but not attained 30 years of age on August 1st of the year of examination are eligible to apply.

Examination Stages:

Civil Service Examination is in two stages:

Stage 1: Preliminary

Stage 2 : Main

Which candidates qualifying these exams after you can called for Personal Interview. Based on the marks secured in the main(written) and Intervew.

**This exam is usually held in the month of April.

2.Junior Grade

For Junior level entry into the revenue service first you can crack the Combined Graduate level Examination by SSC(Staff Selection Commission).

Any Graduation candidates are eligible to apply for this exam.

Candidates age between 18 years to 27 years.

**This exam is less rigorous selection procedure as compared to the Civil Services Examination.

Candidates must be graduation passed from a recognized university. 3. Nationality
Candidates must be citizen of India.
