Re: How can I select defence service after completing B.Tech in Mechanical Stream hi friend Yes, You can applicable for Defence service examination after completing Bachelor's degree CDS: Combined Defence Service Examination through you can join into The Indian Military Academy. Officers Training Academy. Indian Naval Academy. Indian Air Force Academy. CDS is conductad twice in a every year by UPSC Eligibility Criteria for CDS Exams: Education qualification: For Indian Military Academy or Officer's Training Academy: Candidate should have degree from a recognised university. For Indian Navy Academy: Candidate should have degree in B.Sc with Physics & Mathematics / Bachelor of Engineering. For Air Force Academy: Degree from a recognised university with physics and mathematics at 10+2 level/ Bachelor of Engineering. Age Limit: Indian Military Academy: candidate age must be lie between 19 to 24 years. Air Force Academy: candidate age must be lie between 19 to 23 years. Naval Academy: candidate age must be lie between 19 to 22 years. Officer's Training Academy: candidate age must be lie between 19 to 25 years. All the Best!!!!!! |

Re: How can I select defence service after completing B.Tech in Mechanical Stream Hi For getting into defence you need to go for NDA ( national defence acadamy ) for NDA you need to have the following eligibility Candidates should be citizen of India Your age should be between 16.5 to 21 year you should be atleast 12th pass Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Engineering Service Examination, 2013 as per the guidelines given by the Gazette of India. Since you have done your mechanical stream. most probably your age should be more than 21. If you are still under 21, then you can apply All the best |
