Re: Can any commerce graduate be a Pilot? What is the physical Fitness required for Pilot? I am afraid but Commerce student can not apply for the commercial pilot course. You should be science stream student with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the subjects in 12th standard. If you have completed graduation in commerce then it completely rules out the possibility of becoming commercial pilot. You should consider some other career option apart from the Commercial pilot course. The commercial pilot course is to become pilot for commercial airlines like Air India, Jet Airways, Ryanair etc. Since the salary of pilot is good, there are large number of candidates who are interested in commercial pilot courses. There are three stages. First you will get Student's Licence then Private Licence and in the end Commercial licence. Those interested in the commercial pilot course should remember that its very expensive course. You will have to spend Rs 15 Lakh to complete the course. Eligibility 1. You should have passed 12th standard. 2. Subjects should be Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 3. You should have at least 50 percent marks. 4. Lower age limit is 18 years for this course. 5. While 30 is the upper age limit. Physical Requirements 1. The minimum height of the candidate should be 5 feet. 2. You should have 6/6 vision. 3. The vision is correctable through glasses. 4. Contact Lens are not allowed. 5. You should not have color blindness or night blindness. 6. Candidates who have fear of heights are not eligible. |

Hey friend, No,a commerce graduate is not eligible for joining in as a Pilot as you need to write the entrance exam for joining in it as a Pilot and as per the criteria's for the exam you are dissatisfying them. If you are graduate then you should have completed your degree from a recognized university with physics and mathematics as subjects as it is the needed qualification. There are many entrance exam which can be written in order to join in Indian Air Force and that to with having completed graduation but with having not studied your degree without Physics and maths as subjects you stay ineligible for joining in the force But,if you show interest in serving the country in defence you can join in Indian Army as you satisfy the needed qualification for it and you can opt for writing the CDS Exam This exam offers you to join in the force and you need to satisfy the following: Nationality: > Candidate should be a citizen of India Martial Status: > Candidate should be a unmarried male candidate Age Limit: > The age limit for joining in IMA is 19-24 years Education Qualification: > You need to have completed a degree in any discipline from a recognized university and with a fair percentage.Even Final degree candidates are eligible to apply Physical Standard: As also asked for the information regarding the physical standards refer above for information regarding it. Hi, Commerce Student is not eligible for becoming a pilot in Indian Air Force as one the condition that you are not satisfying the education qualification needed to join in Indian Air Force. It is that you need to write the entrance exam to join in Indian Air Force and other defence forces of India as it is the general procedure framed. So as far regarding the eligibility criteria framed for the exam which is conducted in India for joining in Indian Air Force with the respected qualification which you possess you are not eligible. After completing +2 the candidate can join in Indian Air Force by the way of writing the NDA Exam for which critera's are there. And as regarding the criteria the education qualification for joining in Indian Air Force says that the candidate must have completed +2 with physics and mathematics as subject There are certain other criteria's which are needed to be satisfied in order to apply for the NDA Exam and they include such as: > Nationality > Martial Status > Age Limit > Physical Standard If you satisfy them all then you are eligible for applying for the NDA exam in order to join in Indian Air Force.
