Re: What is the scope after completing MSc in geology? there is no scope for geologists job market is in very very bad condition dont go for M.Sc geology simply wasting your career do some other course. Hope my post helps someone. dont do mistake which I did and keep on regretting. |

Geologists have good scope in these industries - Oil Exploration Mineral exploration Environmental Engineering Petroleum Companies Construction There is a high demand worldwide for skilled geologists in all these industries and their allied industries. |

If you are interested in Research job then you can join following institutions such as: Cairn India Limited Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) Coal India Limited Essar Oil Limited And following firms are recruiting students of Geology : Geological Survey of India (GSI) GSPC Institute of Himalayan Geology National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) NMDC Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Oil India Limited (OIL) Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Schlumberger You can also appear for the UPSC or SSC entrance exams and get jobs with the state or central governments. |

Cause outside india they are needed experienced person for their company approx 3 to 5 year experience should be. |
