Re: What are the compulsory subjects to join indian Air Force? What are the physical requirements for this? To apply for Indian airforce must have science stream in class 12th with PCM as subjects. To become a officer in the Indian airforce one must give NDA exam after class 12th. The candidate should be medically and physically fit. |

Dears, I would say students when you are in 10 standard you should decide your trade or branch in which stream of Indian Air Force you want to join. Because if you are looking for technical trade then you should pursue science stream where you will have to study these three subjects first Physics Maths Chemistry When you will go through with these subjects in your 11 and 12 standard. and After completion and passing of senior school then you are eligible for Filling the form of this technical stream trade in Indian Air Force for exams. So there is Written exam, physical test and interview and all other required things you can confirm with official notifications. There will be official notification publishing when you will be writing your 12 final exam or before also because they are assuming you qualified for writing Indian Air Force written exam so if you are failing to qualify your senior school exam even you are passed in iaf written exam they will not call you for physical test and interview. Necessary things are Clear your senior school first without any reason then other things. For other trade or stream in Indian Air Force you should check the eligibility section everytime. As such there is no boundary from air force about subjects to join it.Now a day air force has become very advance so it has scope for every people whether He/She is from science stream/commerce/arts/engineering/sports etc.Now air force is recruiting in following branches- Technical branch Flying branch Ground duty branch. In technical branch you will be responsible for maintenance of all the weaponry of air force.You will be trained accordingly.Candidates from engineering field are most preferred for this branch since they have introductory knowledge of technologies used in such weapons.In flying branch candidates are trained as a pilot in air force.Good physical fitness is necessary to join this branch.Ground duty branch is further divided into sub branches like- Accounting Logistics Education & sports Accounting department is responsible for the planning of fund allotted to air force.It prepare balance sheet for air force.Logistics department handle all the procurement and manage inventory.Education and sports depart has it'w own importance which is necessary part of any military. Now you have to decide the branch in which you want to join.Your subjects will be decided according to your decision.You can go for following subjects/streams- Commerce-Logistics Management-Logistics Arts-Accounting. Commerce-Accounting.
