Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification: A four year B.Tech degree in mechanical, civil, electrical or electronics and communication engineering is required to give this exam. Even a M.Sc degree in radio physics, radio engineering, electronics or wireless communication would do. IES stands Indian Engineering Service.This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year once.This exam is conducted to fill the engineering vacancies in the government sector like >>Indian Railway Service Engineering >>Indian Railway Store Service >>Central Engineering Service etc.... To appear for this exam,you should have completed minimum B-Tech/B.E with any course mentioned below. >>Civil Engineering >>Mechanical Engineering >>Electrical Engineering >>Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering And your age should be between 21 to 30 years. If you fulfill with this criteria,then you can fill this year IES exam form.IES exam form will release in the month of March and exam will held on July month every year.
