Re: What is the procedure to join in medical college after 12th? You should first have a biology background in 12th with your subjects as physics chemistry and biology then you should give medical entrance exams like PMT a good score in these entrance exam can get you colleges like AIIMS. |

AIPMT is the exam, in which, if you get the topmost rank, then you can get admission in any medical college of india. there are other state entrance exams also like AIIMS, JIPMER in which you can apply. good luck |

Re: What is the procedure to join in medical college after 12th? First of all if you want to become a doctor you should have the subjects- PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY & BIOLOGY in 12th std. These are the subjects on which you will be tested and evaluated in the medical entrance test. Secondly, you have to be well prepared for the exams like AIIMS, AIPMT, CMC vellore, JIPMER & other state medical entrances. You can refer to the books Pradeep's Biology, Arihant's Chemistry & H.C Verma for Physics. If you clear these exams you will get admission to complete M.B.B.S degree and you can become a doctor. After that if you want to study further you can prepare for M.D. |

Re: What is the procedure to join in medical college after 12th? HSC passed candidates with Physics Chemistry and Biology as subjects can join medical courses. Admission to MBBS and BDS courses are done via NEET exam. A minimum of 50% marks is required to attend NEET. Admission will be done through a centralized counseling process. In this process, courses are allotted on the order of merit in the qualifying examination. |
