* The Full-Form Of GATE is "Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering". * This Exam is conducted by the Indian institute Of Technology and the Indian Institute Of Science - Bangalore. * This Test is conducted for Graduation pass out candidates who are willing to go for M.Tech/M.E./M.Arch Courses. There are some points regarding GATE that you have to consider on carefully. These are : a) Only those students are eligible to appear for this exam who have : * Finished their B.Tech/B.E./B.Arch Courses from any recognized college/university without having any pending backlogs. * have cracked/qualified exams conducted by educational societies like UPSC/AMIE. b) There is no age limit criteria for this exam but your minimum age must be more than 18 years. c) There is no bar for the number of attempts for this exam as you can give the exam , the number of times you want. d) GATE Score remains valid for a time span of two years. Hope the above mentioned will provide you the information you were searching for. |

GATE stands for Graduate aptitude test in Engineering for Engineering Graduates.This exam is conduct for M-Tech , JRF ,PHD .PSU exams . But some of the selected department are applicable for GATE Exam .I have listed the department is given below- (a) Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent. (b) Bachelor’s degree holders in Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics/ followed by qualifications obtained through an examination conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE. (c) Bachelor’s degree holders in Architecture/Design (for M Des program only) (d) Master’s degree holders in Physics with Electronics/Instrumentation (for M Tech programs). There is some note regarding Gate Exam .you should read this very carefully.
