I have completed my M.A in Sociology from Bangalore University in 2011....and soon after i got a job so i am working now.... so i need to do Ph.d as external.... So my question... is it necessary to write an entrance exam to do Ph.d...? Please guide me how to apply for an external study and good college for the same near by to my place as i resides in RAJAJINAGAR BANGALORE.... Thank You |

Re: How to apply for Ph.D in Sociology? It is a good decision to join PhD if you wish to enter into the research field especially. The candidates should have a post graduation in the same field in order to pursue PhD. There are several reputed universities which offer the PhD programs in sociology. Some of the reputed universities which offer PhD programs are Annamalai University, IGNOU etc. Normally the universities issue notification. Applicants will need to clear the entrance round for the same. The candidates should make sure that it is recognized institute. |
