IAS stands for INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE this exam is conducted by the UPSC once a year.

Required qualification for this exam is graduation from a recognized university of india.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Candidate should complete graduation from a recognized university of india.

Age limit for this exam is 21 to 30 years.

Upper age relaxation for oBC candidates is 3 years

5 years for SC/ST candidates

Candidate should be a citizen of india

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

Preliminary exam

Main exam

Interview

NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

7 times for general candidates

4 times for OBC candidates

No limit for Sc/St candidates

Hai,

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service.


IAS exam conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in 1 year.

Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate must have to complete graduation or any equivalent degree from a recognised university.


Final year graduation appearing candidates are also eligible.

Percentage is not an issue to apply this exam.

Applicant must be a citizen of India.


Age criteria:-

The age limits for General candidates are 21 years to 30 years,

The age limits for OBC candidates are 21 years to 33 years,

The age limits for SC/ST candidates are 21 years to 35 years.


Selection process:-

Civil Services Preliminary Examination,

Civil Services Mains examination,

Personal interview.

yeah for sure . the thingh is that you just have completed your graduation in any respect and you will be eligible for appearing in civil services exams. and the thing is no matters in what discipline youhave completed your graduation but the thingh that matters most is your power of knowledge about the current affairs in our country and also about all the general knowledge you have. be confident , gain knowledge and go ahead.

The eligibility for pursuing IAS first of all you need to pass the civil service exam. UPSC conduct this exam.And you should be graduate in any stream from a recognized college,age must be not less than 21 years and not more 30 years,and you should be Indian citizen.The IAS exam is conducted in 3 steps-
1)PRELIMINARY 2)MAINS, And 3)INTERVIEW
