Re: Minimum marks to pass in Physics take theory and practical combined or separately?

Passing the exam of physics with practical depend upon the sheme of board.
for cbse it is mandatory to pass separately in practical and theory part.
sparately one have to get 23 marks out of 70 in physics theory where
passing marks of practical is 10 .
So you have to get aggregate 33 marks out of 100 in order to pass the subject.

respected sir,
my english & physics theory exams are over.
In english i am sure that i'll score above 60 marks but,in physics my practical was nice but my physics theory was dull, according to me i'll be able to get near 15/70 but i have attempted all questions.so if i'll try to score above 70/100 marks in rest of the other three subjects (chemistry, maths and informatics practices)so,Is there is any way that my physics theory marks will be neglected or i'll be fail

physics is a tough nut but surely its not that bad
for your information you will need a total of 36 (Theory+Practical)
just work hard and give stress on the numericals

it is important that you must passed in both theory & practical in physics. 23 is the minimum marks out of 70 to pass in theory & 14 is the minimum marks to pass out of 30.

Re: Minimum marks to pass in Physics take theory and practical combined or separately?

You need to have minimum of 33% to pass in any subject in CBSE stream.

You need to pass individually in theory and practicals. You need to have a minimum of 24 marks in your theory part out of 100 and 14 marks out of 30 in your practical part.

all the best

Re: Minimum marks to pass in Physics take theory and practical combined or separately?

Hello,

Theory paper is of 70 marks, and practicals are for 30.
You require minimum 33% to pass, and you need to pass in both separately.

So for theory you require 33% of 70 i.e 24 marks.
For practicals you require 10 marks.

So atleast need to achieve 34 to pass!
But make sure that you have got at least 24 in theory and 10 in practicals.

Good Luck!

dear friend,
minimum marks required overall to pass in physics is 33.independently you must get at least 12 marks out of thirty.and 25 in theory so as to be called pass in subject.
