Re: Am I eligible to apply for MPSC exam having B.A degree from Mumbai Hindi University If you have done Graduation from a recognized University then definitely you will be eligible for MPSC exam. MPSC stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission. It conducts exam for various Officers posts in State Government of Maharashtra. Age should be between 21 to 35 years if you are General Category candidate but if you are from reserved category then you will get age relaxation according to the Government rules. The selection will be based on the performance in the examination. You have to be very well prepared for the exam then only you will be able to crack this examination. The exam will have following stages: -Preliminary Exam -Mains Exam -Interview Those who score top marks and are in merit list will be selected. You also must know Marathi language if you are applying for this examination. You can prepare for this examination through coaching or self study. Yeah a graduation completed candidate can be eligible for MPSC(Maharashtra Public Service Commission) exam. But the graduation must be complete from a recognised university. Eligibility criteria:- Candidate should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university. Final year persuing students are also eligible and one morething is that there is no restrictions on percentage criteria. Candidate should be a citizen of India. The age limits are 21 years to 33 years, 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Selection process:- Preliminary exam, Mains exam, Personal Interview. Preliminary exam syllabus:- Arts and Social sciences, Intelligence test, Current affairs, Science and technology, Commerce and Economics, Agriculture. Total of 200 marks.
