(2nd Prof.) Electro Therapy-II Exam – Download Previous Year’s Question Papers Electro Therapy-II is a subject based on fundamentals of physics and encompasses a wide variety of concepts. There are theories expressing and explaining currents of high frequency, shortwave and microwave diathermy, electromagnetic radiation and ultraviolet radiation, laser, hydrotherapy, sound waves of high frequency, traction and therapeutic compression. The smaller units comprising of the topics deal with principles of oscillating system, energy transmission, tuning and regulation methods, filament heating, production of currents, laws governing reflection and absorption, application techniques, patient preparation, contraindications, irradiation techniques, therapeutic effects and dosimetry of UVR, biophysical effects, precautions mandatory, operational skills, use of whirlpool, contrast bath, irrigation device, exercise pool and Hubbard tank, spinal traction, cervical traction, lumbar traction, self-traction, mechanical traction, manual traction, adverse effects and parameters set for the application, compression techniques including compression garments, compression pump, compression bandaging and pneumatic compression. All these components make up the individual topics and enrich the learning experience. |
