Payment of Exam fees for UPSC Civil Service Exam:-

The Application Form can be down loaded By logging in UPSC website i.e. www.upsconline.nic.in and after filling up the First Part of the application Form then there comes the payment options.

The payment options are in three modes:-

-By cash in any branch of State Bank of India
-By SBI Net Banking
-By Debit/Credit Card

An applicant who wants to pay the fee by cash should take a print of the PAY-IN SLIP by clicking on the option "Print Bank Pay-in-Slip". Making use of this pay-in-slip, an applicant can deposit the exam fee in cash at any branch of the State Bank of India. The bank will not accept any other challan/form for the payment of fee by cash. After depositing the fee by this pay-in-slip, the bank will provide a "TRANSACTION ID". Then the applicant will again have to log in and start submission of the part-II of the online application.

An applicant can also pay the exam fee online using the internet banking facility of the State Bank of India.

An applicant can also pay the exam fee online using any VISA/MASTER DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD issued by any bank/institution.

If you are applying for the Civil Service Exam-2012, Preliminary Stage, you will have to first of all complete the Part-I registration through www.upsconline.nic.in

After completion of the Part-I registration, you will be able to generate a Pay-in-Slip, which you must take it to the nearest branch of State Bank of India and submit the fee along with it. Once you have submitted the examination fee through the Pay-in-Slip, the bank will provide you transaction detail which will be required while filing up the Part-II registration of the online application.

For complete detail, refer to the website provided above.
