BITSAT stands for BITS Admission Test which is conducted for admission to Birla Institute of Technology and Science to various campuses :-

BITS Pilani
BITS Goa
BITS Hyderabad



As for as BITSAT exam is concerned...there is no specific topicwise weight-age my friend.....

BITSAT paper is based on the general syllabus of the 11th and 12th class as per the NCERT books. It is conducted online in English medium only.


The paper consist of 150 questions which is divided into 4 sections.

It will be Objective type Paper with 4 options for each question.

The division of questions will be as follows-


Part I - Physics - 40 questions

Part II- Chemistry - 40 questions
Part III- This part is again divided into 2 parts -
(a)English Proficiency- 15 questions
(b)Logical Reasoning-10 questions

Part IV- Mathematics- 45 questions

There is no such topic wise weightage in BITSAT..But you can go through these sample papers which I have provided you so that they can help you out in your preparations..

Observe the pattern and the level of the questions asked in these papers..

There will be no time limit for an individual section however the complete exam has to be completed in 3 hours. The candidate and leave questions and go back to any question while completing these 150 questions.

If the 150 questions are completed before 3 hours, the candidate can choose to answer another 12 questions which will be from Physics, chemistry and Maths, 4 from Each subject but the candidate must not have skipped any of the 150 questions. Also while he starts these 12 questions he cannot go back to change the answers of the previous 150 questions.

3 marks will be awarded for every single correct answer and one marks will be deducted for each wrong answer attempted.
