Re: Eligibility criteria for food inspector? UPSC conducts Food Inspector exam in national level to recruit students to food inspector post . UPSC conducts an examination for selecting food inspector. you must clear that exam. Eligibility for food Inspector Undergraduate degree in food safety or related field such as agriculture, biology or chemistry from a recognised university. Enroll in the USDA inspection training programme. 1 year experience in food industry needs to be shown on resume. Physical Standard: Male height- 157.5 cm. chest 81 cm physical test: walking- 1600m in 15 min. cycling- 8 km. in 30 min. Physical standard: Female height- 152 cm. weight- 48 kg. Thanks.. |

UPSC - Union Public Service Commission conducts All India Food Inspector exam for the recruitment of Food Inspectors in various offices within the country. ::Eligibility:: Qualification: You should have a degree in Medicine, and received minimum 1 Month’s training in Food Inspection from the Central Government or the State Government . Age: The maximum age can be 40 years. Selection: You will be selected through Written Test followed by Personal Interview and according to the rule and regulation of the Govt of India. :: Procedure to become food inspector :: 1.get undergraduate degree in food safety or a related field such as agriculture, biology or chemistry. 2.join certification classes offered by your local bureau of food and meat inspection. 3.Apply for USDA Inspection Training Program. application form can can download from the United Fresh Produce Association website. 4.Apply to companies and agencies seeking food inspectors. Re: Eligibility criteria for food inspector? dear friend, Eligibility for Food inspector:- 1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in Science/Food technology/agriculture/Pharmaceutical.. 2.Candidate must be a citizen of India. 3.Candidates age should be in between 21-30 years.. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years. So, go for it.. All the best. |
