Re: Minimum qualification required for M.Sc (Statistics)?

Basically you need to be a graduate in the stream of Statistics or Mathematics. It is important that you should have pursued the course from the recognised institute. Also many of the institutes require the candidates to have appear for the entrance exam. Also the candidates need to have atleast 55% marks in graduation. You can appear for the exams when you are in the final year provided you complete the course at the time of joining for these courses.

Re: Minimum qualification required for M.Sc (Statistics)?

hiii

Minimum qualification required for M.Sc (Statistics)
the eligibility for M.sc (Statistics) is such that "Candidate must have passed B.A. (Honours)/B.sc (Honours) in Statistics or Mathematics or must have studied Mathematics and Statistics as subject in B.A./B.sc. Whereas for aggregate, reputed institutes like- IIT's, demands for 60% including all six semesters.
Wheras admission is also based on entrance in reputed institutes like- IIT's, ISI, etc.
Do, it would be better if you mention the name of any particular institute or university from where you want to persue your M.sc. So that we can help you in more discriptive manner.

Well dear you haven't mentioned that for which particular university you want to know the eligiblity criteria, as different university have different criterias.

However, in general the eligibility for M.sc (Statistics) is such that "Candidate must have passed B.A. (Honours)/B.sc (Honours) in Statistics or Mathematics or must have studied Mathematics and Statistics as subject in B.A./B.sc.
