There are various dept. in which the minimum qualification criteria is graduation. Like Railways,Defence Dept.,Bank PO and many of the other govt. department. So, you have to fully prepare for your study, after it you are settled in a bright future. |

If you want a job as a officer in defance.There is three defence categorys indian army,indian nevy,indian air force .You have join all categories by cross upsc exam but some eligibelties are requried.you complete your 12th class with pcm group ,your age not more than 24 for army,23 for nevy,22for air force.according to your cast catagoery you lose in over age. for more information in defance link at www.upsc.gov.in |

The best way to get into Defense service in India is by qualifying the Combined Defense Service Examination which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Examination is conducted for recruitment of officers in the following Defense Forces of India: Indian Army Indian Air Force Indian Navy Graduate in any discipline may join the Indian Army, whereas to join the Indian Air Force candidate must have passed the +2 level of exam with Maths and Physics apart being a graduate in any discipline. However, to join the Indian Navy one must have completed the Bachelors program in Science Stream or Engineering. The minimum age limit to apply in these departments is 19 years. The maximum age limit to apply in Indian Army is 24 years, for Indian Air Force is 23 years and for Indian Navy is 22 years. The examination is conducted twice a year. |
