Re: Government jobs and sectors where IT students can apply? dear friend, there are lot of jobs opportunities for IT engineers in government sector. you can join top banks of India as an IT officer.here you will get handsome salary. the name of bank includes... SBI PNB UCO BANK UBI BoB LIC ALLAHABAD BANK etc. you can also join BSNL,MTNL as an IT officer.apart from these you can join defense sector in technical fields. also you can appear in CIVIL SERVICES which is conducted by UPSC. good luck. |

There are jobs in railways, national banks, health clinics departments, scientific research centers etc.. You can search for these kind of jobs in the employment news and the national dailies where notifications of several public sector jobs are published.. you can give given below exam 1.railways. 2.NTPC. 3.ONGC. 4.BHEL. 5.IAS. 6.UPSC. Etc. All the best! |

You can try for JTO(BSNL) IAS,IPS(UPSC) Indian Air force/Army/Navy Banking sectors. But a plenty of jobs are available in private sector, & it is better for you to search jobs in private firm. good luck. |
