heloo sir/madam,
i want to become rto officer, i have completed mt 10th from kendriya vidyalaya with 74%, and my 10 2 from mp board from 50%.
and my father is also in rto at clerk post (sahayak varg 3). is i m able to clear psc exam? and what is process to become district officer in rto please help me out.
how can i bright my future.

Hi Guest,

In order to become an RTO Officer the candidate needs to complete graduation with a good percentage.

The minimum percentage required is above 60% throughout the academics.

As you have completed Diploma it is a good move to go for graduation in engineering and later on can apply for RTO officer post.

RTO exam clerk post eligibility;-


* You should be the citizen of India.
* You should have the age limit within 18 to 37 years.
* You should complete graduate from a recognized institute.

RTO exam Judicial post eligibility;-

* You should be the citizen of India
* You should have the age limit within 23-35 years.
* You should complete graduate in law from a recognized university.

RTO exam sub assistant eligibility:-

* You should be the citizen of India
* You should have the age more than 34 years
* You should complete graduate from a recognized university
* In particular fields such as mechanical and civil

At present you are not eligible to apply for MPSC RTO (Regional Transport Officer) Exam.The Eligibility conditions that you will have to meet are :-

Educational qualification :-
~You should have a Engineering/Bachelor degree in Computer science/Mechanical Engineering.
~Your degree should be from regular university.
~Your degree should be approved from the AICTE.

Age :-
~Your minimum age should be 21 years.
~Your age should not be above 32 years after getting age relaxation facility.

Exam Pattern :-
~There will be two papers :- General and Subjective.
~Each paper will include 100 questions.
~Total duration of each pper will be 2 hours.
~Total marks for each paper will be 100.

Syllabus details :-

~General paper
  • Reasoning.
  • General Grammar.
  • General awareness.
~Subjective paper
  • Computer science/Computer application/Information Technology.
  • Mechanical Engineering.
NOTE :- In subjective paper you will have to take any one paper from the given above.

you need be citizen of India

you need be age between 18 to 23 years old

Complete any degree from recognised university

you need to know state mother toung

RTO Exam is known as Regional Transport Officer Exam

RTO examinations are generally conducted by public service commission of each state of India. The number of vacancies would vary from one state another.
The information specified below helps you know more about various eligibility criteria, qualification and other information about RTO examination and much more.

Eligibility criteria for RTO exam are as follows: -

1. Pass graduation / Bachelor’s degree in any subject or in any engineering stream or equivqlent from a recognised institute / university.

2. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

3. Nationality - Indian

NOTE: - Final year appearing candidates can also apply for RTO exam.

RTO examination clerkship post eligibility criteria

•RTO examination held to hire candidates for clerkship post must match the following criteria.
•The candidate should be a citizen of India.

•The candidate should have an educational qualification Secondary education or equivalent from the respective state board.

•The age of the candidate should be between 18 years old and should not cross 37 year old.

•The exam syllabus would vary from state to state RTO examination.

RTO examination sub assistant engineer eligibility criteria

•The candidate applying for the post of RTO Examination sub assistant engineer post must match the following criteria.

•The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

•The candidate should have a degree in engineering like in civil, mechanical or in electrical.

•The number of vacancies available would vary from state to state.

•The age of the candidate should not cross 32years.

RTO Examination Judicial service post eligibility criteria

•RTO examination held for judicial service post follows the following list of eligibility criteria.

•Candidate should be above 23 year old and should be below 34 years.

•He should be a citizen of India.

•For this particular post candidate should be holding a degree in law from any standard or recognized university.

•Candidate should be capable to read, write and speak particular state’s language
