The exam is conducted in 1st week of may & mains in 2nd week of October.
the age limit for the exam is that you must complete 21 years as on aug 1st of the year in which you are applying.

You should be a graduate from any recognised university.

the total number of attempts is 4 for general,7 for OBCs and no limit for SC/ST.

Hello,
There is not any percentage criteria for IPS exam,You should have graduation degree from a recognized university for applying IPS exams which are conducted by UPSC.
So after B. tech degree ,you are eligible for this exam..........

WITH OUT THE COMPLETION OF PLUS TWO ITS POSSIBLE TO WRITE THE ips EXam but we a degree graduation...............

sir iam having 86% in my 10th,67% in 12th and now in btech i hav only 55%. i know about eligibility for civils exam but as my % is descending can i be selected only based on marks achieved in upsc exams or not.plz send your reply to "[email protected]"

Dear Friend,
If you have completed your B.Tech and between 21-30 years of age then you are eligible for UPSC CS Prelims Exam.
The minimum Educational Qualification required is a Graduation degree from recognised university/college.

don't worry about that.minimum eligibility is any degree from recognised

university.age limits is 21 -30.final year students are also eligible for the

exam.don't worry your eligible for the exam.but you put very hard work for

the exam.there is heavy competition in the exam.take it a serious.

yes you are eligible for ips exam as the minimum educational qualification is graduation in any discipline. you can visit www.upsc.gov.in for more details.
