Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University B.Sc Part I- Physics Paper III (Optics and Laser) Exam – Download Previous Year’s Question Papers While physics is an important subject in the course of accomplishing a bachelor’s degree in science, the laser and optics part of it form a special paper with regards to its contents. The laser and optics section mainly focuses on the aspect of light, its effects and calculations relating to it. Some of the topics are Fermat’s principle, lens, its different types , power of the lens and unit used to measure it , calculation of focal length of a mirror, principle underlying the superposition of light, Fresnel’s concept of half period zone and derivation of expression for the same, three levels of the laser system and their hierarchy, different applications of laser, resolving of the power of the telescope, theory of production of different shapes of light, in their circularity or elliptical shape, construction and the process of working of different kinds of laser, plane transmission grating and brewster’s law. |
