Re: Can I join NDA after passing Arts? Yes Arts students are also eligible to apply for NDA examination after 10+2. But they are only eligible for Indian Army. For Indian Air Force and Navy you need to have Physics and Maths in 10+2. For Indian Army any stream students are eligible to apply.. Age Limit: Age must be between 16.5 to 19 years and only unmarried male Indian citizen can apply. Selection Procedure: -Objective Type Paper -SSB Interview -Medical Examination Hence get yourself prepared for the above stages because the merit is prepared on the basis of marks in the above exam. This exam is conducted by UPSC twice time in year for joining the Indian Defense System.... NDA is conducted in three wings : 1). Indian Army, 2). Indian Navy and 3). Indian Air Force. Since, you have completed your 12th in arts stream then you can apply for the only Army Wings.... Eligibility and Criteria:- Education : A candidate who have completed their 12th Science can apply for this exam. A candidate from other Stream can also applicable for Army wings only...... Age: Age of candidate must be between 16.5 to 19 years.... Nationality: Must be Indian.... Marital Status: Only Unmarried Male candidate can apply for it..... No any Relaxation for Reserved category.. Exam Stages:- 1. Written Exam 2. SSB Interview 3. Medical Test Physical Requirement:- Height of candidate at least 152 Cm.. A candidate should have robust physique and good mental health... Should have normal hearing with each ear and good binocular vision in both eyes... NDA examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a yearI .This exam is conduct for recruitment in - Army wings, Navy wings, Air force Wings. The minimum required qualification for NDA exam is 12th standard .If your 12th subject is mathematics and Physics then you are applicable for all above wings.NDA exam not require any percentage marks of the candidate. Your 12th standard from Arts stream so you are applicable for only in Indian Army post through NDA exam . The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India. The selection procedure for NDA exam are Written Examination ,Medical Test ,Physical Test , Personnel Interview Written Examination will be divided into 2 papers- Mathematics-300 marks. Yeah why not you are eligible for NDA(National Defence Academy) exam, NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should have to complete +2 from a recognised university or board. Percentage is not required for this exam. For Indian Navy and Indian Airforce you must be complete 12th standard wit Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects but no need for Indian Army wing. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible Applicant must be physically fit and should be indian citizen. The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years. There is no upper age relaxation. NDA - National Defence Academy, conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Health.
