Re: Does SBI ATM card serve a purpose for ID proof? will be there be any technical problem i.e while withdrawal of cash from ATM machine or using it as debit card if the signature on back side of SBI ATM card doesnt tally accurately with the signature on application form? Reply asap. |

Because an ID Proof must have your photo pasted on it. Examples of ID Proofs are: Valid Driving License,valid College ID,Voters Card No any government or private company accept ATM card for the Identity proof for any person. good luck |

Re: Does SBI ATM card serve a purpose for ID proof? Hi, This is common thing that ID proof is that on which we paste our photo and signature. On SBI ATM card we provide our name and signature so this is not a valid ID proof. |

SBI ATM card does not proofs of your identity in any terms as it does not contain any information about you except your name which is useless information as it does not contains photograph of you. Also if you think that having your name of your's on the cad should prove the identity, I would like to justify that if you lose your ATM card and someone gets it, he will surely use it as the identity card of his by saying that he is the person with that name. So, you can't show your ATM card at a place where you are asked to show the identity proof. Thank you.. |
