Re: Percentage required for getting admission in MBBS? MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery . This is a four year bachelor degree course after completing which you will moving towards becoming a doctor . For this course from top government medical colleges you should must have secured at least 60% aggregate in your 12th board examination from a recognized college/school . You must have 60 marks in each of subjects i.e; Physics , Chemistry and Biology . Also your age at the end of the year in which you are going to give entrance examination must be within 17 years to 25 years . Also for admission in the government colleges you must have to appear in entrance examination and must secure minimum qualification marks for that examination . Expected cutoffs for most important medical examinations are as given below :- For AIIMS and State medical entrance examination :- You must secure 50% marks . For AIPMT :- You must score around 70% marks in the same examination . For different private medical college entrance examination , aggregate in the board examination and cutoffs for same might varies . So for further information regarding different examination visit the official website of that examination . |
