The required qualification for entrance exam of CA intermediate that is a student who wants to pursue CA intermediate exam, he has to clear CA foundation first.

Otherwise, according to CA direct entry scheme he has a graduate or post-graduate student who secured at least 55% with commerce background or at least 60% with the non-commerce background. you can directly register for the Intermediate level. You will not have to clear the CA Foundation exam.

After this, a student is eligible for CA intermediate exam. If you have queries, you can visit CA wizard to clear your queries.

i got 55% marks in M com in that 6 marks are given
as extra marks for getting 55 % marks.kindly check that am i eligible for C a intermediate course

Hi Friend.................

This course contain two ways of entries are there

1)Through the CPT,

2)Through the graduation

Through CPT

Qualification for CPT ;

You must have +2 (or) are equivalent to +2 course with any stream.

And no percentage is required for this course.

And no age limit also required

Through the graduation ;

For this you must have degree eligibility ;

As per the new rules of ICAI you can join in IPCC with the following qualification ;

If you belongs to commers background must have at least 55%.

And in case of Other graduations are must have at least60%.

If you have any above qualification you can join in IPCC course.

You must qualifing this IPCC both groups otherwise not eligible for forthere coursrs.

After this course you are eligible for CA final course
And you must qualifing this exam then only you will be a CA.

Under Common Proficiency Test there will be two set and each set will include two sections.You will have to pass the exam.If you get pass in this exam,then only you will be eligible to take admission in Intermediate course.
Each set will be of 2 hours and total marks for each set will be 100.To get pass in each set you will have to score a minimum of 40 marks in each section.

Syllabus for Common proficiency Test is as follows :

Set I :- Fundamentals of Accounting and Mercantile Laws.

Set II :- General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude.

Chartered Accountant is professional who manages company's finance and keep the tax obligation of company less.

Chartered Accountancy are always in required in corporate sector and they can even practice of independently.

Students can register them self with ICAI for Foundation level after clearing their 12th class.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY

10+2 passed or equivalent qualification.

Graduate or Post Graduate students who fulfill minimum requirement set by ICAI can also enroll directly for Executive level.

There are 3 stages/ level in CA

• FOUNDATION
• EXECUTIVE
• FINAL

Examinations of the course are conduct twice a year in may and june.

Admission is open through out the year.

They can register online or buy prospectus from it's centers.

Centers list is available in it's official website

This is distance education type course and can be pursed along with any other qualification or job.

CA total fee is around 40000/- to 45000/-.

Total Duration of Chartered Accountancy course - 4.5 YEARS minimum.

The Intermediate level of Chartered Accountancy (CA) course is termed as
Integrated Proficiency Competence Course i.e. IPCC

The qualification required for IPCC is as under;

Qualified CPT (Common Proficiency Test). The CPT can be taken after 12th.
or
Pass in B.Com. with at least 50% marks.
or
Graduation in any discipline (Non-commerce without Mathematics in Graduation) with
at least 55% marks.
or
Graduation in any discipline (Non-commerce with Mathematics in Graduation) with
at least 60% marks.
or
Pass in Final Course of ICWAI CWA course.
or
Pass in Professional Course of ICSI CS course.

If you fulfill have any of the above mentioned qualification then you are eligible for IPCC.
