Automobile Engineering delas with the design,development and maintenance of automobiles and its spare parts. It includes the elements of Electronic Engineering,Mechanical Engineering,Software Engineering,and Safety Engineering as applied to th design, manufacture and operation of automobiles,buses and trucks and their respective subsystems. This course can be done after passing 12th and qualifying the entrance test conducted by the Institute in which you want to take admission. If you get an opprotunity to take admission in a reputed college,your chances of campus placement will be high and you can get a good package. There are not many colleges in India for this course as compared to other courses but the scope of this course is very huge especially in abroad. Generally,automobile engineers are divided into three streams:- 1.Development Engineers. 2.Product or Design Engineers. 3.Manufacturing Engineers. After the successful completion of this course,you can get a job in automobile companies like:- 1.Fiat. 2.Mahindra. 3.Maruti Suzuki. 4.BMW. 5.Audi. 6.Ford. 7.Jaguar. 8.Chevrolet. 9.Hero. 10.Lamborgini. 11.Ashok Leyland. 12.Bajaj. 13.Hero Motocorp. They have enough scope in automobile manufacturing, servicing and maintenance firms. In aeronautical and aero space equipment manufacturing firms also they can find openings. Nova Global Pvt Ltd, Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd, etc are some of the private sector firms where automobile engineers can apply. Other than this, they can apply for most of the Engineer Trainee jobs in public sector firms. |
