Dear friend
Yes, you can apply for NDA(National Defence Academy) but you can apply only for the army wing. As only those candidates who have completed 12th with science stream are allowed to apply in any wing of NDA.

Getting into NDA is highly prestigious. For NDA, admissions are conducted twice in a year. At first there will be a written testwhich will be followed by interviewroundsand then medical rounds.
Eligibility Criteria regarding NDA :
~ you must have cleared 12th from a recognized institution.
~ you must be physically as well as medically fit.
~ you should free from diseases or disability.
~ you should not have pst history of mental disorder.
~ your age must be between 16 & 1/2 to 19 years.
~ your chest size must not be less than 81 cms.

Yeah sure, being commerce stream student definitely you can join Indian Army.

Its really appreciable that you want to serve for Nation.

Well to join Indian Army, you have to appear in recruitment exam of defence services. In our country- there are mainly two exam conducted through which you can join Indian as given below....

1. NDA[National Defence Academy]

2. CDS[Combined Defence Academy]

Information on NDA Exam

NDA exam is organized by UPSC twice in a year as NDAI & NDAII.

Eligibility fro NDA:

You should be 12th passed in any stream/subject from recognized education board.
Your Age must be with in 16.5 to 19 years.
You should be Male.
You should be Indian.
You should be Unmarried.
You should be physically & mentally sound.

Structure & Pattern of NDA Examination:

Information on CDS Exam

CDS exam is organized by UPSC twice in a year as CDSI & CDSII.

Eligibility fro NDA:

You should be Graduate in any stream/subject from recognized university.
Your Age must be with in 19-24 years.
You should be Male.
You should be Indian.
You should be Unmarried.
You should be physically & mentally sound.
