Re: Books for preparation of AIEEE and 12th standard? Syllabus For AIEEE All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is based on the curriculum of 11th and 12th standards of CBSE. Topics covered in each paper are as follows- Physics The syllabus is divided into two sections- the weight age of section A is 80%, while of section B, it is 20%. Section A Physics and Measurement; Kinematics; Law of Motion; Work, Energy and Power; Rotational Motion; Gravitation; Properties of Solids and Liquids; Thermodynamics; Kinetic Theory of Gases; Oscillations and Waves; Electrostatics; Current Electricity; Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism; Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents; Electromagnetic Waves; Optics; Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation; Atoms and Nuclei; Electronic Devices; Communication Systems. Section B consists of questions related to Experimental Skills. Mathematics The syllabus of mathematics includes Sets, Relations and Functions; Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations; Matrices and Determinants; Permutations and Combinations; Mathematical Induction; Binomial Theorem and its Simple Applications; Sequences and Series; Limit, Continuity and Differentiability; Integral Calculus; Differential Equations; Co-ordinate Geometry; Three Dimensional Geometry; Vector Algebra; Statistics and Probability; Trigonometry; Mathematical Reasoning. Chemistry The syllabus of chemistry is fragmented in three parts- Physical Chemistry: Basic concept in Chemistry; States of Matter; Atomic Structure; Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure; Chemical Thermodynamics; Solutions; Equilibrium; Redox Reactions and Electrochemistry; Chemical Kinetics; Surface Chemistry; Inorganic Chemistry: Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties; General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Metals; Hydrogen; S-Block Elements; P-Block Elements; d – and f – Block Elements; Co-ordination Compounds; Environmental Chemistry; Organic Chemistry: Purification and Characterization of Organic Compounds; Basic Principles of Organic Chemistry; Hydrocarbons; Organic Compounds Containing Halogens; Organic compounds containing Oxygen; Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen; Polymers; Bio Molecules; Chemistry in everyday life; principles related to practical Chemistry. A.I.E.E.E is conducted by C.B.S.E once in a year. For A.I.E.E.E read N.C.E.R.T of Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Try to solve each and very Numerical given in end of the chapter. When you read N.C.E.R.T thoroughly then buy any one book for like Pradeep physics, Modern ABC of Biology, Denish Chemistry. Read one book thousand time instead of reading thousand book one time. After all this solve previous year question paper. And Model test paper. ALL THE BEST! |

For maths- you can follow M.L.Khanna, Arihant, T.M.H And Pearson For physics- you can follow Arihant, Rasnik halledy, H.C.verma, Mahesh jain for chemistry- Arihant, Morison & boyd (for organic), R.C.M (for numerical), solemon books to read.. # go through NCERT books thoroughly and solve each and every question of that book. # solve AIEEE sample paper (it contains previous years question papers and few sample papers also.) 7. Tipler Physics Vols I & II Reference Book 8. O.P. Agarwal IIT Chemistry Recommended for Inorganic Chemistry and reference book in general. 9. Sienko & Plane Chemistry Principles & Applications Reference Book you can also use arihant 10 year IIT JEE last year paper books for all subject and it is very handy you can get it from any book shop easily and most of question asked in AIEEE are directly come from these books and some are based on them. you can also join test series . |

both for 12th boards and AIEEE..u need to be first completely thorough with ur NCERT books because many times..in AIEEE and even in IIT-JEE there were questions directly from the course book.. after finishing with these..u can go for M.L.Khanna in maths.. P.Bahadur for chemistry and Concepts Of Physics for physics.. if u solve the numericals of these books..then u will surely secure a great rank in AIEEE.. also solve the past 10 year papers from Arihant's book.. it is always advisable to join a coaching or at least a test series through some coaching institute as the test series and the teaching out there lets u know ur position all over india..and how much u need to prepare and work hard for faring well.. all the best.. hope this helps..

Most of the questions in AIEEE come from the basic fundamentals.So you need to keep your basics strong and try to concentrate more on the fundamentals.To score a good rank in AIEEE you should be through in your text book of 12th standard. Best books for 12th standard NCERT set of books are a must since final exam questions are from these books itself, every year. so you must study them. AIEEE; Arihant publication books for AIEEE are really good books. solve previous years question papers in limited time real exam like situation. Reference books OP Tandon -chemistry, Morission boyd (for high reference) Arihant organic chemistry Pradeep_physics ABC - physics Arihant -Maths Sample papers and previous papers. |

Re: Books for preparation of AIEEE and 12th standard? i think it is better to study the text book carefully to appear in different entrance examination. if you have good knowledge on the subject and if you are quiet confident about the physics, chemistry and mathematics then surely you can crack AIEEE examination. different institution follows different text book for 12th study. it is better to follow thise book which your institution follow and also your teacher advise you. also you may check this book Mathematics-S.N Dey Physic-C.R.D.G or D.M.M Chemistry-Maity and Choudhury these all are text book. first complete the text book then buy some other good book from market. in the book you will get previous years model question paper as well as few model question paper. after completion of the whole syllabus try to solve those model papers. you may also take admission in any good coaching institution those will provide you good study material for various engineering entrance examination. also the mock test provided by different coaching institution are very much helpful to crack the AIEEE or other engineering entrance examination. best wishes. |

First of all i would suggest you about to study throughly of the NCERT books of all the three subjects Physics Chemistry Maths and solve it whole it exercises and everything. besides that books like for chemistry you can refer to chemistry pradeep's for the physics and for the maths you can refer to RD.Sharma and RS Agrawal for physics you can also refer to the H.C Verma above all you can take help of the previous year papers of the AIEEE exam According these all things are enough for the preparation of AIEEE exam. |
