After passing Computer science you are not eligible for I.E.S exam. I.E.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year. All the candidate who pass the engineering in following stream are eligible for I.E.S exam:- 1.Civil Engineering 2.Electrical Engineering 3.Mechanical engineering. 4.Electronics and Communication Engineering. Re: Can a Computer Science student apply for IES examination? Dear friend, As far as i know computer science/IT students are not eligible to apply for the IES exam, conducted by the UPSC.
