B.TECH stands for BACHLOR OF TECHNOLOGY ELIGIBLITY FOR B.TECH 1.Candidate must have passed 12th with science stream from a recognised institute or university. 2.Candidate must have passed AIEEE OR IIT-JEE exam. if you are a commerce student then you are not eligible for the B.TECH. because the candidate must have science stream for the B.TECH course. thank you...... |

Eligibility criteria for B.tech Course: > The candidate should have completed his 12th standard or higher secondary education. > Both Physics and Chemistry should be amongst the science subjects studied. > The candidate should have studied Mathematics too as a subject. > Some institutes also keep restrictions like those who have pursued English also as a subject should apply. Thus it is not possible for you to apply for btech with commerce in your +2 level...tough luck mate

Re: Can I join B.Tech after plus two commerce group? No you cannot apply for B.Tech course. Only candidates from science background can apply. Both Physics and Maths need to be part of the subjects studied. If you have studied Maths during plus two then you can probably apply for BCA course. Thereafter you should pursue MCA. Candidates with MCA background will find opportunities similar to B.Tech candidates. After completing MCA you can apply for M.Tech too. |
