Re: Can I get a good service in Air Force as a commerce student? After 12th with Commerce you can join Indian Air Force only through Group Y Trades which is a non officer post. You can join as an Officer in Indian Air Force if you complete B.Com. through AFCAT Ground Duty Branch. You will not be eligible for Officer posts in Indian Air Force after 12th Commerce. You can apply for NDA but you will be only eligible for Indian Army. For Air Force you must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Maths. Hence you have only one option for Indian Air Force that is Group Y trade. The age limit for this is 17 to 21 years and selection will be based on the Written exam, Physical fitness test and medical examination. If you complete B.Com then you can apply for AFCAT Ground Duty Branch. The age limit for Ground Duty Branch is 19 to 23 years for Graduates. So complete your Graduation as soon as possible so that you can become eligible for AFCAT. Selection in Ground Duty Branch of AFCAT will be on the basis of Written Exam, SSB Interview and Medical Examination. For more information visit http://www.careerairforce.nic.in |

Re: Can I get a good service in Air Force as a commerce student? ~~~Chances of BCom student in Indian Air Force~~~ Hei frend being a comarce student you can get admited to folowing branch of IAF. 1 Administrative branch. 2 Accounts branch. 3 Logistic branch. To get into it candidate must. 1 Passed BCom from recognised university with 60% marks. 2 Candidates age must be between 20 to 23 year. 3 Candidate must clear Air Force Common Entrence Exam. conducted by IAF. |
