Re: How to Prepare for GATE from 2nd Year itself? Well its good that you want to write GATE exam.You can refer to books like R.S.Agrawal,J.S.Sinha,NCERT.Since you are a ECE student i will attach sample question papers for ECE in GATE exam.You can prepare for it. |

Dear friend, I am happy to say that it will be better if you are starting the GATE preparation from second year itself First of all, you have to know about the syllabus and try to prepare notes for each subject and try to solve as many previous questions papers possible Then listen to your regular classes and concentrate on the problem solving techniques You can also join for the coaching classes if you need Your % in graduation will not affect you very much But you have to score above 95% to get admission in institution like IIT (it will be better if you scored above 98%) The better thing will be concentrating on your studies it will also help you for preparing for GATE Spend at least one hour in a day for GATE Good luck friend |

Re: How to Prepare for GATE from 2nd Year itself? dear friend, It is very good to take preparation for GATE in 2nd year. For preparation of GATE, In this year you have to do nothing tough work, you have to fully cover your semester syllabus within semester exams. First you should see the GTAE syllabus & then you should cover the papers which you are studying in this sem, & try to command over it. And after completing your 2nd year, you should try to join any coaching institutes for the preparation of GATE to know the GATE question pattern, other wise you can join any test series also. god luck. |

Re: How to Prepare for GATE from 2nd Year itself? hii to Prepare for GATE from 2nd Year itself be clear on ur fundamentals....and ur branch subjjjjjjjects yes you can try for gate preparation if possible can join long term classes for preparation. and most focus on lectures in college and try to solve related books. you need to have percentage criteria for GATE and it has nothing to do with entrance score. For getting in best college's like IIT you must score 90% and above for that you have to try hard. gud luck..... |

How to Prepare for GATE from 2nd Year itself? i m student of entc engg in 2nd year.. i would like to know how can i start preparing for gate ? what should i more focus on? as my branch is electronics n comm. i would like to ask how much percentile is required in graduation ? does it has to do anything with entrance score? how much should i score minimum to get admission in good college? i study in thanjavur,tamilnadu. so can u pls suggest me good colleges overall...? i would be thankful to you... |
