Irrespective of your percentage of marks in 10th standard, you are not eligible to join Civil Engineering.

The reason is one should have completed 12th class in order to apply for Civil Engineering.

The admission for civil engineering be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam.

Some of the popular Entrance Exams to join Civil Engineering are
AIEEE
IIT-JEE
BITS- Pilani

So, I suggest you to opt for the stream in 12th class with Mathematics as the compulsory subject and complete it successfully.

Simultaneously have good preparation for the Entrance Exam also and apply for it soon after the completion of your 12th class.

One more career option is there for you.

You can join Polytechnic course in Civil Engineering. The duration of this course is 2 years.

Soon after the completion of this course, you will be given admission directly to 2nd year of Civil Engineering.

In this way there is a good scope for you to gain good knowledge on various subjects and concepts of Civil Engineering.

You can choose the way in which you are interested in order to join Civil Engineering.

The job opportunities in Civil Engineering are ever green. So, you don't need to worry about this .

Wish you all the best.

Of course you can... Civil Engg. is one of most demanding branch in engineering. Try to crack JEE Main (IIT & AIEEE); start preparing now.
