Dear Friend ,

*NET stands for National Eligibility Test.

* This exam is conducted by UGC twice in a year in the months of June & December.

The Eligibility Criteria that you require to set yourself eligible for the exam are :

* You must have completed your post graduation from any recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks.

* Your age should lie in between 21-28 years if you want to go for JRF otherwise no limit for the lecturer post.

The subjects in UGC NET examination are found here : http://oldwebsite.ugc.ac.in/inside/syllabus.html

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.

I have attached some of the previous year papers of UGC NET Environmental Science..

There are a total f 94 subjects which are offered by the NET Exam in which candidates can apply for the JRF and Lectureship..

I am really very sorry but Life Sciences is not offered by UGC as a stream..
