Re: Is there any scope in CS branch? One thing I want to say you first is that, There will be good number of job opportunities for the candidates after completion of Computer Science courses. The reason being India is getting good number of IT projects and to complete these projects candidates who have completed technical related courses are to be hired. Some of the top courses in Computer Science field are Computer Science Engineering Information Technology Master of Computer Applications etc. The admission for all these courses will be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam. Each and every university will conduct its own Entrance Exam to give admission for the candidates for above courses. As a part of selection procedure, they may conduct Written Exam Group Discussion Technical Interview HR Interview Some of the top IT companies that are recruiting freshers are TCS Infosys Wipro Microsoft Oracle Dell etc. You should be strong enough in subject knowledge and communication skills in order to grab job opportunities. Re: Is there any scope in CS branch? You have nothing to worry as there is large number of opportunities in computer science branch. You can find openings in both private and public sector. In public sector you can find openings in companies like CDAC, BSNL, ONGC, etc. You can find job opportunities in all private software companies like Infosys, Wipro, HCL, etc. If you want to change the field you can do MBA or any other course as higher studies. |
