Re: How should I study IAS after studying B.Tech 1st year CSE? Hi, IAS is a exam conducted by UPSC . The minimum qualification for IAS is Graduation . So you can appear this exam after B.Tech only . But as you know "Well begun is half done " ,so it is better to start to begin now itself . To begin with you must study the current affairs . Be perfect with Basic concepts of maths . Then you also have to prepare for the mains For the main exam the subjects are as follows : IAS Mains Syllabus Paper I (One of the Indian Languages to be selected by the candidate) Maximum marks : 200 Paper II (English) Maximum marks : 300 Paper III (Essay) Maximum marks : 200 Paper IV & V (General Studies) Maximum marks : 600 Paper VI, VII, VIII, IX (Any two subjects (each having 2 papers) to be selected from the prescribed optional subjects) Maximum marks : 1200 |
