Indian Administration service exam was is held once in year,this exam is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility criteria for IAS exam:
Candidate should have complete graduation degree with any stream from recognized university.
Age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Important dates for IAS exam:
Indian Administration Service(Preliminary exam) Notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 4th Feb 2012 to 5th March 2012.
Exam will held on 20th May 2012.
Indian Administration Service (Main Exam) notification for this year:
Exam will held on 15th Oct 2012.
Yet notification details,were not update,i hope they will be updating notification after preliminary exams.

This examination is conducted by UPSC every year.

for appear in this civil service examination you must have to complete your graduation in any stream from a recognized college.

the age limit for this exam s 21-30 years., there are 5 & 3 years of age relaxations are applicable for SC\ST & OBC candidates respectively.

this examination has three stages
1.CSAT
2.MAINS
3.INTERVIEW....

The IAS 2011 exam or CSAT exam is conducted by UPSC.

The syllabus and examination pattern has been changed from

this year.

The important dates for CSAT examination for year 2011 are as follows:

Notification date: 19th February,2011

Last date of submission of application forms:21st March,2011

Examination Date: 12th June,2011

The Prelims are held in last week of May and the results for the Prelims shall be declared in the first half of August..

The Mains shall be conducted in the last week of October and the results shall be announced in the mid of March..

The interview shall be held in the last week of April and the result shall be announced within 2 weeks of the interview..

Educational qualification.

graduation in any stream from a recognized college.

Age limit-
21-30 years for a general candidate.
21-33 years for a OBC candidate.
21-35 years for a SC\ST candidate.

No. of attempts-
4 for a general candidate
7 for OBC candidate
so such restriction for SC\ST candidates.

The notification for civil services exam was issued by UPSC on 19th feb. 2011. The forms are already available in the market. You can either apply online or offline.

last date for receipt of applications:
Online: The online applications can be filled up to 21st March, 2011 till 11.59 p.m. after which the link will be disabled

Off-line: All off-line applications must reach the controller of examinations, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahajahan road, New Delhi-110069 either by hand or by post/speed post or by courier on or before the 21st March, 2011

IAS (Indian Administrative Services) exam conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

The notification for civil service examination 2011 has been announced. Now you can apply . Upsc notifies CSE-2011 in the employment news weekly dated 19 to 25.
Now the forms are available throughout country at designated post officer / HPOs worth price Rs 20 only.

Minimum qualification required - graduation in any stream

The notification for IAS 2011 is not issued as yet and hence the application forms too are not available.

The notification will be issued on : 19.02.2011

Last date of receipt of form is : 21.03.2011 (MONDAY)

Date of examination is : 12.06.2011 (SUNDAY)

The notification will be issued in all employment newspapers as well as leading daily's on 19th feb 2011.
