First of all congratulate for completing M.E and ENGINEERING.You will have more preference in placements.The jobs for your branch graduates are TCS, CTS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, MINDTREE etc. The government which you can apply are BEL, OIL, BSNL, NTPC, Bank jobs, Railway, Air force, Defence, L and T, Isro, Drdo etc. Not only for above jobs you can also apply for different jobs which you have interest.For searching jobs see the website www.freshersworld.com or www.freejobalert.com |

Ya you are thinking correct ,if you completed your graduation with 55% or more then you can apply for m.e and its a wild field so you have lots of choises and option for jobs and as we come almost over of recessio so you can hope for a large package of sallery but you shoud study very carefully so that you become so perfect that in future you will not have to face any problem |

(Computer Science) background is equivalent to ME (Computer Science and Engineering). B.Sc. Computer Science (3 Yrs) + MCA (3 Yrs) = 6 Years. BE Computer Science (4 Yrs) + ME (2Yrs) = 6 Years. MCA and ME both are equal. Companies are giving equal priority to both MCA and ME. Master of Computer Applications MCA and Master of Engineering ME Degree holders are Equal to each other. Both MCA and ME (Computer Science and Engineering) Professional Degree courses, the contents of theory and practical syllabus are Same. MCA and ME Degree holders are Equal to each other. Dear friend, a very good idea to higher study after BSC Definitely it is good to study ME in Computer science and a bright future is waiting for u,dont worry Now the S/W market is lowing down,now u can complete ur ME degree,after passing u can apply or sit in campusing small & MNCs such as TCS,CTS,INFOSYS,Wipro For ME degree there r so many colleges such as Jadavpur university,BESU as well as any other govt. colleges. Re: Is m.e computer science and engineering good? it is always good if you go for higher studies in your own field in which you have done graduation..... me is a good course and has got more scope and demand than bsc for sure....... also during this recession time it will be difficult for you find a job with bsc course ......so go for me ....so that after the recession is over you will fing a good job easily/.. best of luck |
