Dear,Your marks 60% from AICTE approved Institution OR Degree in Science (B.Sc.) from UGC approved University with Mathematics (not applicable for Pharmacy) scoring at least 60% marks in the relevant disciplines will be eligible for admission to degree courses based on the merit position in the JELET-2010 conducted by the “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” Good luck, |

For appearing into WB JELET you should have minimum qualification of 12th pass and should have domicile of WB. As you have done diploma in mechanical engineering, so you are eligible for it, but you will get good government colleges only if you will have domicile of WB. West wishes. |

Diploma holder's are eligible to appear for this exam provided that they have pursued the course from recognised institutes. Also there is an option of lateral entry. You will save one year of engineering as you can join directly for the second year. You must check out the institutes which do offer this option. Also lookout for the notifications regarding this. |
