Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission Combined Competitive Examination (Mains)- Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science-II Exam – Download Previous Year’s Question Papers For all those who have taken up the subject of animal husbandry and veterinary science, this course goes deep into the anatomical, biological study of animals with respect to their environment. Some of the topics taught in this course are distinction between the different kinds of cheese, inbreeding and the different impacts of inbreeding including the phenotypic and genetic impacts, whole process of improvement of dairy cattle through genetic inbreeding, concept of epistasis and the different stages of epistasis, procedure of classification of cheese and the manufacture of different kinds of cheese, zoonotic diseases and the common kinds of zoonotic diseases which occur frequently, mode of action of herbal medicines on livestock , ethnoveterinary medicines, the most common and major livestock and poultry diseases and the means to prevent them, secretion of hormones by endocrine glands and their respective functions and mode of actions, importance of breeding records, photosensitization. |
