Re: How to join Police department after completing B.Com? It is good that you have completed your B.Com in Graduation and want to join Police Department to protect law and order. I suggest you have good preparation for civil services exam through which you can become IPS officer. For this, the complete selection procedure you need to crack is CSAT Exam Main Exam Interview As per eligibility criteria, You should have completed your Graduation. No minimum percentage of marks are required in Graduation. Age criteria : For General category : 21-30 years For OBC category : 21-33 years For SC or ST category : 21-35 years As you have completed your B.Com course, if you possess the above mentioned age criteria, you are eligible for this Exam. Have good preparation for it and crack it. Wish you all the best. |

HELLO  Yes , definitely you can join in Indian Police Exam Because there is no marks criteria if you have completed graduation then you are applicable for IPS exam. -IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam.This exam is conduct through Civil Service Exam . -Those candidate have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.There is no marks criteria for the candidate. -But your age should be in between 21-30years for general candidate. In IPS exam their is provide age relaxation for OBC candidate is 3years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years. The maximum attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years. Also you must be citizen of India. The process for CSAT exam is - 1)Preliminary Exam 2)Mains Exam 3)Interview(Must be medically fit) Every round for CSAT exam is too tough so practice well and believe on hard work. Preliminary part is consist of multiple type Question but in the main section ,there are some broad Question. If you have completed graduation I would recommend apply for the Indian Police Service Examination called Civil Service Examination which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The role of IPS officer is very important in not just maintaining law and order but security of the nation. The responsibilites of the IPS officer include border policing, tackling human and drug trafficking, disaster management, VIP Security, counter terrorism etc. IPS officers also lead and command Para Military forces in India lie CPO, CPF, BSF etc. The intelligence agencies like Intelligence Bureau (IB), R&AW, National Investigation Agency (NIA) and even CBI recruit officers from the Indian Police Service. Now as I mentioned earlier, to become IPS officer you are require to appear in Civil Service Examiation conducted by the UPSC. It is a very competitive exam where more than 600,000 candidates appear every year. Therefore may I suggest taking professional coaching to prepare for the IPS exam. Eligibility: 1. Candidate should be Indian National. Even NRI can apply for the IPS exam. 2. Qualification requirement is graduation degree in any stream from are recognised university. Age Criteria The minimum age to appear in IPS exam is 21 while 30 years is maximum. The upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates. For SC/ST the upper age limit is 35 years.
