Dear Friend AIIMS stands for the All India Institute of Medical science.In order to get admission in this institute for pursuing bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery ,you need to pass the AIIMS entrance exams. AIPMT exams stands for the All India Premedical test .This examination is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary education every year. Basic educational qualifications required is 10+2 from a recognized board with PCB as compulsory subjects. The minimum age limit is 17 years and the upper age limit is 25 years on 31st december of the examination year. Now coming to the no of attempts: The no of attempts is three which one in the year in which you give 10+2 exams ,the other two attempts in the next two following years. For example ,if your are giving 10+2 exam in 2013 then the first attempt for you will be in 2013 for AIPMT and the next two will in the 2014 and 2015 respectively. Similarly for AIIMS entrance exams there are three attempts. AIPMT and AIIMS exam pattern:  Hope the information helps you. all the best aashisranjan784 |

The All India Pre Medical Test is conducted every year by the Central Board Of Secondary Education [CBSE]. You need 10+2 with PCM from any recognized board as the minimum educational qualification in order to appear in AIPMT. The Number Of Attempts Allowed For AIPMT are : For General Candidates : 4 For OBC Candidates : 7 For SC/ST Candidates : No Limit This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. The aiims exam conducted All India Institute of Medical Science has fewer seats There is no limit for number of attempts You can attend the exam if you are above 17 years. there is no upper age limit for this exam. so you can attend for numerous times without any limit. |

Re: How many attempts of aiims are allowed? there are maximum three chances,if you passed 12th exam in 2010 with 60% marks or above in physics, chemistry,biology and english .then you will be eligible to give aiims entrance exam in 2010,2011 and 2012. |

Re: How many attempts of aiims are allowed? hi friend, AIIMS exam is allowed to take only three times and these attempts should be consecutive only. Means you should take exam in 2007 , 2008 and 2009 year. As you have taken one exam in 2007 , you are eligible for two more exams. |

Re: How many attempts of aiims are allowed? i have gone through the prospectus of aiims of the year 2008 and also through the present notification issued by aiims on its website ,there is nothing mentioned regarding number of attempt so you should not have to worry about it . but to be on the safer side you should contact aiims .(contact number-26588500 extention no.4707) |

How many attempts of aiims are allowed? sir , i would like to know that i passed my 12th in 2007, aftr that i have given aiims 1 times.. now how many more time i can give aiim exam and upto how many years. plz reply me as soon as possible.. thnx |
