Re: Which group to take in standard 11th? Books to be referred? i am a student of class 11th, i have taken science(medical) as my stream and i dont want to become a doctor or an engineer. Can somebody please suggest me what career options do i have later on? i dont mind hardwork but with that i want high salary(in lakhs per month). i am really confused what to do in future can someone please please help me out with it......please tell me all the options i'll have in future. |

If you are really confused about which stream to opt for in 11th standard...you are actually standing at a point of time which will decide your future (and once I was also there) Now Let me tell you this frankly that this is a very early stage to decide which stream you want and what career you want to opt for..!! In 11th You have these streams available :- 1) Science 2) Commerce 3) Arts !) Science :- (Best field to take if you are confused in choosing stream right now) If you are really confused, then this is the right field for you because a science student can always change his profession at any time and can find any job even which are generally available for commerce and arts student.. Subjects to be studied :- Physics and Maths (Compulsory) Other subject a) Chemistry b) Biology (Generally for students who want to go for medical) c) English (One language at +2 is must) d) other options ranges all subject ( like CS, Physical Education etc.) Higher Education:- Aspirant can go to different fields like MBBS, BTech, BSc etc. 2) Commerce :- Very good field . Have high career opportunities in accounting,Buisness etc. Subjects:- BSt (Buisness Studies) , Economics, Accountancy English (All 4 are kind of a compulsory subjects) Now commerce have two groups a) Comm. + Maths - If you take Commerce you should go for Maths sure shot. It is worth it. b) Comm. + others - Other subjects include a variety including CS , physical etc. (But comm without maths has very low opportunities) Opportunities (Career options) :- BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application ) BBA, B.Com ( in accountancy ,admiistration etc.) 3) Humanities :- I would suggest this stream if you are really interested in studying subjects like History and could remember dates and have a sharp memory to remember. Difficult stream ( Actually difficult to get marks  )Subjects :- Out of the languages, one shall be English or Hindi, both English and Hindi can also be offered simultaneously. 1) History 2) Political Science 3) Sociology 4) Geography 5) Psychology Career Opportunities :- Humanities or Arts as the stream is popularly known, offers students a host of opportunities in various fields like mass communication, counselling, and teaching. I hope now you have the knowledge about every stream . I have just given advice but you have now to take that stream that you are really Interested in. So think and take your decision..
