As your Rank would be around 20k to 25k, So don't worry it is also a Good Rank. Wait for 2nd Round of AIEEE Counselling best of luck!! |

Scoring 180 marks in AIEEE is not so good marks for getting the governmental colleges ,180 marks means that your rank will stand in between 20,000 to 25,000. And for this rank all the governmental colleges is not available....mostly all NIT's filled up at the rank of 14000-14500. But you need not to worry for this rank,as because apart from the NIT's all the colleges under AICTE are available for you.And for that you will have to choose from the private colleges which takes admission on the basis of AIEEE score card. I think that you will get good colleges at the time of counseling like : 1. Delhi College of Engineering , Delhi 2. Thapar Inst of Engineering & Technology, Patiala 3. Bengal Eng and Science University , Shibpur 4. Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI), Kanpur 5. Dhirubhai Ambani IICT, Gandhi Nagar 6. Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal 7. Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore 8. IIIT, Allahabad 9. Amity School of Engineering Noida 10. Sathyabhama Engineering College Chennai etc....... So i will advise you to attend the counseling...that's all. |

If you opt for You own choice Branch then you have to compromise with the College. As your Rank would be around 20k to 25k, So don't worry it is also a Good Rank. Wait for 2nd Round of AIEEE Counselling and if Not satisfied then Go for State couselling with your Rank card. Then i think you will be satisfied. If again Not satisfied then Go for any Private College with donation or any Entrance Exam. |

Re: Can I get a good college after scoring 180 in AIEEE? well 180 in Aieee means a modest rank in the range of 15000 to 20000 and hence you will have a sure chance of getting some NIT although you may not get the opportunity to study your preferred branch, in an NIT. However if you are willing to go for private colleges you will have good opportunity to choose your college as well as branch. colleges like AMITY, MIT< KJ SOMAIYYA, SRM etc will be available to you. Take help of professional counselor in aieee councelling you will get better branch and college. |
