Re: After completing 12th in science can I do BCA? BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Applications. This is a 3 year Graduation course being offered by many of the colleges in India. The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates to join this course is by completion of 12th class with the following subjects Mathematics Physics Computer Science However the candidates who have completed 12th class in Life Sciences are also eligible to join this course. But the thing is that these people should put extra efforts towards understanding the subject. In the initial days, the candidates may feel tough to understand and study the things but after couple of months I am sure that the candidates will be habituated to the subject. So, you are eligible to join BCA course. Collect the list of colleges offering this course in and around you and choose the one which is good in terms of academic standards and campus placements. Try to get admission in that college and make most out of the course. Opt for MCA course at Post Graduation level so that you will be having good career scope to get job opportunities in top IT companies of India. Wish you all the best. |

 BCA stands for Bachelor's degree in Computer Application.The duration of this course is 3 years. To study BCA, one should pass 10(+2) with maths, physics,chemistry as main subjects. And he/she should get at least 50% marks in 12th.Most of the colleges need either maths or computer as one of the subjects in 12th and also english as a compulsory subject.Though some colleges do not need this criteria.Some colleges conducts their own entrance exam while some seeks admission on the basis of merit. You have completed 12th standard with science department so you are applicable for BCA course . The BCA course having below given subjects-

Dear friend, Yes, of course you join the B.C.A after completing 12th science. B.C.A is very demanded course in the corporate world. B.C.A stands for Bechelor of Computer Application. You have done 12th science in recognized board or university. But in these exam you have get minimum 50% in these exam. B.C.A is whole computer knowledge course. A minimum of 50% marks is required to apply. Pune University, WBUT, etc offer admission to BCA course. Marks obtained in 12th acts as the basis for admission. |
