upsc conducts a SSC ( staff selection board ) exam every year which recruit the CID officers. CRIME INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT ( CID )  CID is the crime detection agency under the government of india,the officers who work under this agency are called detectives or cid officers. BRANCHES OF CID > state crime investigation bureau > finger print bureau > scientific section  HOW TO JOIN to join the CID you have to appear for the examination conducted by UPSC. after cracking the examination you will join the IPS . after that you will be promoted to CID according to your performance ELIGIBILITY CID CONSTABLE - Passed in 12th SUB INSPECTOR - graduation OFFICER - Graduation is must. moreover graduation in criminology is the preferred field . there are many colleges in india offering criminology courses . its eligibility is 12th pass. AGE ~ 21- 30 YRS PHYSICAL FITNESS height - minimum 5'6 chest - 32' ( normal ) 34' ( expanding ) EXAM SYLLABUS / PATTERN

So I want to give SSC graduation examination so give me adive that how can complete it. My age is 24 year old. So Give me idea which is the best of me. |

To join CID you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CID exam.Criminologyyour age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.you must be in citizen in India. |

The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum is 27 years. The subject you have chosen is not a problem but you need to complete the graduation in it. The recruitment is done through Staff Selection Commission. So, after the graduation you need to appear for the SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination. |
