Re: Chances of getting placements after 1 year drop?

hi , myself RASHI
recently i have giveN 12(isc) board
but i dont think of getting any gooood college for btech
everyone is saying not to drop 1 year and take admisssion in any average college
but i think that i should drop 1 year and once more judge my capability
so is it good opinion to DROP 1 YEAR AND JOIN AAKASH INSTITUTE FOR PREAPARATION OF IIT Or NITS
(if my PCM percentage (IN BOARDS ) is only 80%) :(

No, one year drop in studies are not going to affect your placements. Only certain firms like MNC usually take in to account on the gap in studies. TCS usually consider candidates with not more than two year gap in studies. 1 year gap is not a problem in most cases. Professional skills and academic excellence of the candidate are often considered for a job.

Chances of getting placements after 1 year drop?

I have passed class 12 in 2012.
I could not get a good rank in wbjee this year.
If i give a 1 year drop and give wbjee next year and then join a govt college,
will my placements be affected due to the 1 year drop?
