Information regarding Diploma/Polytechnic Course. Nice to see your interest in the field of the diploma course. IT is also known as polytechnic. This course is duration of three years after 10th & two years after 12th class. Diploma course is available in the different branch like Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Electrical...etc. You need to choose any branch as per own interest. To take admission in the diploma course you need pass 10th class as the minimum criteria. So, if you are 10th pass student then you are eligible to take admission in the diploma course. There are many government and private college in India which provide the diploma course. After completing the diploma course you can take admission in the direct second year of the B.Tech course through the lateral entry exam. All the best.
