Eligibility criteria for Merchant Navy exam- Those candidates who have passed your 12th or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from central/state board or recognized school are eligible for Merchant Navy exam. Your age should be below 20 years. Physical criteria:- • Eye Sight = 6/6 • Height = 167 cms • Weight = 50 Kg • Chest = 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding) |

Re: Am I eligible for Merchant Navy stream? I wear spectacles As far as maths is concerned, knowledge about class 10 level maths for NIFT exam and curriculum is fine. Aspirant should have successfully passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum of five subjects from any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination. For candidates from London/ Cambridge and Sri Lanka.applicants should have passed General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination at the Advanced (A) level. The maximum age of the candidate is restricted to 23 years as on 1st November of the year of admission. For M.F.M or masters in fashion management, aspirants need to hold bachelor’s degree. Candidates pursuing Bachelor in Applied Arts (Fashion Design / Visual Communication / Graphic Design / Industrial Design / Interior Design / Multimedia Design / Product Design / Textiles & Accessories are also eligible. |

Re: Am I eligible for Merchant Navy stream? I wear spectacles Merchant Navy is a great career option after 12th. There are strict conditions for physical requirements which also includes 6/6 eye sight. There are many courses to opt from in context to Merchant Navy. Spanning from 3 years B.Sc. in Nautical Science. Candidates need to be 10+2 with minimum 60 per cent and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. Age limit should be between 17 to 25 years. There is also 2 years Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nautical Science. Candidates should be 10+2 PCM and age limit for the course is 25 years. The one year Diploma course in Nautical Science require candidates who have passed class 12 with minimum 55 per cent and with Physics, chemistry and maths. |

that is not a big issue depends if u have -1 site its ok but not more than that by doing laser u can reduce all the best |
